The Circle City Youth Basketball Organization began in Fall of 2002. Due to the lack of quality High School Fall Leagues, the Corona Santiago Boys Basketball Boosters, started its annual Fall Classic that is played a week before the beginning of the regular season. It has grown from a handful of teams, to the largest event of its kind in Southern California. Teams from all over the state look forward to this event.
In 2005, Circle City and Corona Spirit create youth leagues for the winter season. Having the support of area High School Booster programs, we were able to serve over 350 kids in our inaugural year.
In 2006, the Spirit and Circle City leagues combined to increase its reach, while improving its efficiencies.
Coaches are allowed to have up to 3 practices before the first game, and then will cut down to 2 a week. Most Coaches will have practices on Saturday and may also practice on a weekday, early evening.
Remember, Circle City is about our kids and supporting our local High Schools.
